Blanco tequila (also called silver or plata tequila) is the purest and most unaged style of tequila. It’s typically bottled either immediately after distillation or after resting briefly (usually less than 2 months) in stainless steel.

Reposado tequila ("reposado" means "rested" in Spanish) is tequila that has been aged in oak barrels for at least 2 months and up to 1 year.
